Wrestling Legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Dies

In sad news for wrestling fans, legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has died aged of 61

According to TMZ, he was discovered on Friday morning having died of cardiac arrest the night before.

Roderick Toombs, aka “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was one of the biggest names in profession wrestling during the mid 80’s to early 90’s, he competed in the very first Wrestlemania back in 1985 and in 2005 was admitted into the WWE hall of fame.

WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon had this to say about him

“Roddy Piper was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performers ever in WWE, beloved millions of fans around the world,”

Our condolences go out to all his friends and family.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper, you will be missed.
